Faces Exhibit
Through the series “Faces,” Tyamica has captured expressions of artist who have inspired her journey.
From local poets and singers to family members and well known public figures, Tyamica finds inspiration in the actions of others when they are fulfilling their passion. The words of poets pouring their hearts out on stage, exposing their hidden emotions, and the melodic voices of songwriters, fill her with the need to create.
Becoming personally involved in the lives of local artist enhances Tyamica’s empathy and allows her to connect personally with each painting.
Techniques and Materials: All work is acrylic paints on canvas. The process continues to evolve. The “Faces” exhibit will show Tyamica’s development from a self taught artist to one that has incorporated real world experience and peer collaboration into her method.
